10 minutes bake time, 350 Oven, donut pan required.

Nutrition

Each donut with glaze:

6.8g fat, (3.5g saturated fat), 15g carbs, 6g protein, 136mg sodium, 164mg potassium, 34mg cholesterol, 3g sugar, 3.5g fiber.

You Will Need

1 Donut pan,
1 Bowl to melt chocolate,
1 Mixing bowl or pot to mix ingredients.

Ingredients

1 cup whole wheat flour,
1/4 cup cocoa,
1/8 tsp salt,
1/2 tsp bake soda,
1/2 tsp bake powder,
1 egg,
6 tablespoons sucralose(add 2 extra if you want more sweet),
2 tablespoons unsalted butter,
1 tsp vanilla extract,
1/4 cup yogurt nonfat unsweetened(I used Yoplait vanilla),
1/3 cup 1% milk.

Prepare donut pan; lightly grease if metal pan.

How To Make:

I melt the butter in a pot on the stove, and then I just add all the ingredients to this pot. Remove pot from stove once butter melts.
Mix dry ingredients together in bowl; flour, salt, baking soda and baking powder, and cocoa.
In separate bowl, mix melted butter, sugar, egg, yogurt, and vanilla; use whisk to smooth consistency.(or use pot)

Pour in some of the milk and add in flour mixture 1/3 at a time, alternating with milk. Use spatula to mix. Dough is very firm texture once mixed.

Make Glaze:
Use 5 dark chocolate squares 80% cocoa.

Add some splenda to sweeten somewhat try 3 teaspoon, or 4 as you like.
Melt the chocolate in the microwave. Once melted, stir in the sugar.

Pour into small diameter container but large enough you can hold each donut to dip the top in the glaze.

Serve as snack or as dessert.

Making Brownies

You can use this same recipe, and using 2 batches, make donut brownies in an 8x8 bake baking pan.

Drizzle the chocolate glaze over the brownies once they cool. You can use 4 or more squares of dark chocolate for drizzling over the brownies.

Use a cake drizzler if you have one. This makes a nicer looking drizzle. If you want to have it more like cake frosting; just melt additional chocolate squares to have enough to cover all areas.
With the brownies you can make 16 or more or less depending on how you cut them.

Also, you can sprinkle some crumbled walnuts over the brownies as they cool: then pour the chocolate drizzle over the walnuts, This helps to keep the walnuts to the brownie.
If you want, you can also use the 2 batches to make additional donuts. A double batch makes 9 regular donuts and 12 small donuts.

Walnuts are a healthy food when eaten in moderation. A half dozen or 12 halves, eaten a few times per week is recommended.

Dark chocolate is also quite good for us. It's not nearly as sweet as candy chocolate; but it has antioxidants which we should eat more often. Eat a square or two each day to get the best nutrition from dark chocolate.

One square of a 80% dark chocolate cocoa bar has only 1g sugar; with 8grams for the bar.(8 squares). A milk chocolate bar has about 25g sugar. Using or just eating dark chocolate is a healthier food choice.
