Vitamin C is probably one of the most well known vitamins. And, is a vitamin that is easily consumed so getting your daily recommended DV, is not difficult. The ascorbic acid found in a vitamin C supplement occurs naturally in foods containing vitamin C.
The most common food being oranges and orange juice. Other good foods to choose are citrus fruits, drinks made from citrus fruits, sweet green and red peppers raw, baked potatoes, brocolli, brussel sprouts, and strawberries.

Because vitamin C is water soluble heating/cooking foods with this nutrient can reduce the vitamin. So if your having a leafy green vege try steaming it to keep more of the vitamin's goodness.

You can get your daily recommended by eating-drinking:

3/4 cup orange juice;
1 cup grapefruit juice;
​1 large orange;
1 cup fresh strawberries;
1 1/2 cups fresh cantaloupe;
1/2 cup raw sweet red pepper;
​3/4 cup raw sweet green pepper.
